Sally is degree qualified in Australia. She gained further certification following studies in China, UK and the US.
Sally practices Neuropuncture which is a system integrating Western neuroscience theory with acupuncture, the latest research into electro-acupuncture and the holistic TCM model of health and well-being.
Depending on her patient’s needs, she combines the very gentle method of fine needle Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion – heat therapy, with cupping, Chinese herbs, scalp and auricular acupuncture in her practice to help her patients manage issues such as neck and back pain, headache, insomnia, digestion and reproductive health problems.
She has a particular interest in neurological problems and supporting MS patients in particular, and works with her patients to help them manage common symptoms such as fatigue, pain, anxiety, depression and motor and balance issues.
In 2018 Sally commenced her post-graduate acupuncture training in oncology under the supervision of Associate Professor Byeongsang Oh at the Mater and RNSH hospitals, and she looks forward to furthering her ability to support patients facing the challenges associated with cancer treatments.
Sally is a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), and is registered as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA).
