Jacqueline obtained her degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM); qualifying as both acupuncturist and herbalist.
Her special interests are:
Women’s health including endometriosis, heavy or painful menstruation and fertility
Mental well-being with a focus on stress, anxiety, PTSD and insomnia
Digestive issues including bloating, diarrhoea, constipation and IBS
Pain management – muscular, overuse syndromes, migraines and more
Jacqueline’s skill goes beyond her classical TCM training as she has also studied classical acupuncture and the Arvigo® techniques of Maya abdominal therapy to support her treatments. She may add moxibustion, electrical acupuncture, cupping, meditation teaching and Chinese diet management to a treatment plan, ensuring her patients get the best results.
She has had training in several acupuncture techniques that can address and reduce pain, be it related to an acute injury or a long-standing injury and sees patients with ailments such as shoulder pain, back and neck issues, knee or RSI issues to mention a few.
Arvigo® therapy will support patients with complex health issues such as endometrioses and PCOS with a hands-on approach; breaking up stagnation and increasing blood flow as well gently guiding a misaligned uterus back into its optimal position. Through a short self-care routine – taught as part of these sessions – she empowers patients to take their uterine and menstrual health into their own hands. Arvigo® can be useful as a stand-alone or as an addition to acupuncture treatments. To learn more about Arvigo® click here.
As a long-standing Buddhist meditation teacher, she can provide meditation and mindfulness instructions as part of your treatment.
Jacqueline is a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and is registered as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA).
