Registered Acupuncturist and Herbalist
BTCM (Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine)
Jacqueline obtained her degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM); qualifying as both acupuncturist and herbalists.
She practices the holistic model of TCM, combining it with classical acupuncture, orthopaedic acupuncture, moxibustion or cupping.
Jacqueline has a particular interest in women’s health and mental well-being, including anxiety and insomnia, as well as digestive issues and pain management. She will educate her patients about food from a Chinese medicine point of view and how they can use their diet to support a treatment, or teach meditation techniques to help calm the mind – whatever might be required to empower patients to take charge of their health again.
In 2019 Jacqueline studied the Arvigo® techniques of Maya abdominal therapy and she now uses this ancient abdominal massage technique to help the uterus back into its optimal position, manually break up stagnation that might cause menstrual problems and aid the flow of Qi and lymph. She teaches a short self-care routine that can help support uterine and menstrual health. To learn more about Arvigo® click here.
Jacqueline is a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and is registered as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA).
